Pull-up, turning, push knobs
Drain operation
without electricity and
without touching the water
Pull-up, turning and push knobs enable convenient and hygienic control of the water drainage in the bowl – without electricity and without direct contact with the water. This operating variant is referred to as Space-saving at Suter Inox: The drain is controlled externally via an operating knob, all while the mechanism works reliably and maintenance-free in the background.
There is an assortment of operating knobs to choose from depending on your personal preference, kitchen design and bowl model. These differ by the type of control, the design and also by the combination options with drain technologies and types.
Pull-up knob
The pull-up knob is the classic drain operation solution. A slight pull of the knob opens or closes the water drain in the bowl. The knob is mounted on the countertop, visibly extends outwards and blends in harmoniously with the tap and dispenser.
The pull-up knob is compatible with the following drain technologies and types:
- Drain technology: Desino, strainer
- Drain type: type M, type S, type C, Schock drain
The following ranges can be fitted with a pull-up knob:
Linero, Daneo, Vantis, Silver Star, Zaros, Comfort, Accento, Gastro MaXX, Rund, Brooklyn, Carbon
Turning knob
The turning knob controls water drainage by way of a simple turning motion. It is also mounted on the countertop and forms part of the water centre as a visible operating element. Thanks to its distinct design, the turning knob is suitable for kitchens where functionality and minimalist design are at the fore.
The turning knob is compatible with the following drain technologies and types:

The sinks in the Nemo and Primus model series are equipped with a strainer, a drain type and a turning knob from the Schock brand. Pull-up and push knobs as well as other turning knobs are not compatible with the sinks in these two model series.
Push knob
Discreet, flat, modern. The push knob is the latest and most discreet version of the Space-saving operating variant. Water drainage is controlled by pressing the knob. The push knob can be integrated flush with the countertop. The result is a particularly neat and serene look that works perfectly in modern kitchen concepts. Alternatively, the operating knob can also be mounted on top of the countertop, extending outwards only slightly due to its flat design.
