Type of installation
Various installation options, one promise:
Perfection down to the last detail
Sinks and bowls can be integrated into the countertop in multiple ways. Selecting the right installation type shapes the look and mood of your kitchen. Whether flush-welded, flat-lying, topmount or undermount – each option brings its own character and offers individual advantages.
Discover which installation type works best with your kitchen style, the material of your countertop and your design and maintenance requirements.
Installation: flush-welded
Seamless for the highest of standards
If the kitchen countertop and the bowl are made from stainless steel, the bowl can be joined directly with the surface. Welded flush with the surface and installed by a single supplier, the water centre remains hygienic and easy to clean.
Installation: flush-mounted
Material transition as design element
With this installation option, the sink border is the star of the show. Border widths of 7, 12, 15 and 17 mm are available depending on the model. Sink and countertop form one seamless unit, merging into one another without a harsh transition.
Flush-mounted installation is possible with sinks labelled as IF or F models.
Installation: flat-lying
Soft transition, clear lines
With this installation type, too, the eye is drawn to the border of the sink, which can be 12 or 15 mm depending on the model. There is a smooth transition between the countertop and the sink.
Flat-lying installation is possible with sinks labelled as IF models.
Installation: topmount
Classically timeless
The sink is inserted into a pre-prepared section from above and lies flat on the countertop. This installation method was the epitome of kitchen design for decades. Today, these sink icons are experiencing a comeback thanks to new design ideas and functionalities.
